Labyrinth-type seal

L2

Labyrinth-type seal

Non-contact labyrinth seal designed to exclude light splashing of liquids and/or fine to coarse granular contaminants.

Minimal component wear, minimal frictional loss, and no special preparation of mating surfaces are key advantages of this seal.  High circumferential speeds are possible depending upon application.  Seal retention and improved static sealing performance are improved with O-rings on contacting shaft and housing.  Small quantities are available in 3 days.
