Duralast™ materials are specially formulated elastomers developed to offer targeted media compatibility, high functionability in extreme operating conditions, or simply extend service life of critical equipment, all while maintaining the excellent flexibility and ductile properties that make elastomers such good sealing materials.

Suitable for use with mineral oil, fire-resistant fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC, HFD), vegetable oils, ozone, brake fluids (glycol, mineral and silicone base), air up to 200°C, acids, steam, sour oils/gases, and heavily formulated oils with amine additives.Hydraulics, pumps, oilfield and chemical equipment. Steam injection. Fertilizer plants.
Duralast 4203Durable and abrasion-resistant hydraulic seal material for hydraulic fluids (mineral/fire resistant, biodegradable/water based). Silicone oils, oxygen, bio-diesels.

Duralast 4203 is a high-performance sealing material for use in hydraulics, oil water emulsions, water hydraulics, and food machinery. This material offers very low wear, as well as exceptional compression set and extrusion resistance.
Duralast 4330A high-performance sealing material. Improved flexibility allowing installation in tight housing applications. Durable and abrasion-resistant material for hydraulic fluids (mineral/fire resistant, biodegradable/water based). Silicone oils, oxygen, bio-diesels.For use in hydraulics, oil water emulsions, and water hydraulics, where the abrasion resistance and mechanical properties of polyurethane are idea, however increased flexibility is required for fitment.
Used as a shaft seal material for large diameters as the improved abrasion resistance and increased flexibility provide strongly improved service life.
Very tight control of seal load is possible with this material.
Duralast 4331Durable and abrasion-resistant seal material that is especially resistant to fatty food stuffs and most CIP fluids.For use in the food processing industry ancillary equipment and hydraulics, as well as food machinery. Rotary mixers and extruders, pumps, dispensers, fillers, piping, quick connects, etc.
Duralast 4403Highly extrusion-resistant seal material suitable for use in mineral oil, fire-resistant fluids, sea water, biodegradable fluids, vegetable oils, bio-diesels, and most modern hydraulic fluids.For use in ultra-high-pressure applications for fluid seals and back-up rings. With the appropriate design, this material makes sealing pressures as high as 28,500 psi possible.
Duralast 4404Self-lubricated, highly extrusion-resistant seal material suitable for use in mineral oil, fire-resistant fluids, sea water, biodegradable fluids, vegetable oils, bio-diesels, and most modern hydraulic fluids.For use in ultra-high-pressure applications for fluid seals and back-up rings. With the appropriate design, this material makes sealing pressures as high as 28,500 psi possible. The self-lubrication properties allow the seal to be pressurized for long periods of time in a static condition.
Duralast 4520Elevated-temperature durable and abrasion-resistant hydraulic seal material for hydraulic fluids (mineral/fire resistant, biodegradable/water based). Silicone oils, oxygen, bio-diesels.

For use in hydraulics at elevated temperatures. This material offers very low wear, as well as exceptional compression set and extrusion resistance. Physical properties remain very stable at higher temperatures.
Duralast 4555Elevated-temperature durable hydraulic seal material for hydraulic fluids (silicone oils, oxygen, bio-diesels).For use in hydraulics, oil water emulsions, and water hydraulics. This material offers very low wear, as well as exceptional compression set and extrusion resistance.
Duralast 4758Self-lubricated seal material suitable for use in mineral oil, fire-resistant fluids, sea water, biodegradable fluids, vegetable oils, bio-diesels, and most modern hydraulic fluids.For use in applications where reduced friction is sought or poor lubrication is an issue. Also used frequently where equipment is stationary for periods of time in an unlubricated condition.
Duralast 4764Durable and abrasion-resistant low-temperature thermoplastic seal material that offers very low wear, as well as exceptional performance at temperatures as low as -58°F For use in hydraulics, oil water emulsions, water hydraulics, and food machinery. This is suitable for use in arctic conditions, as well as food-storage facilities
Duralast 4846Physically inert thermoplastic material with low friction suitable for use in hydraulic fluids, biodegradable fluids, water hydraulics.

Duralast 5101A high-performance elastomer Resistant to mineral oil-based fluids, fire-resistant water-based hydraulic fluids including HFA , HFB and HFC, vegetable oils, diesel fuels, gasoline, and alcohols.
This material offers low wear, as well as good compression set, tear strength and flexibility.
For use Hydraulics as lip seals, piston seals, vee packings, wipers, static seals as well as seal energizers.
Long life option for rotary shaft seals, split seals and V-rings.
Duralast 6146A high-performance elastomer with excellent abrasion resistance. Material suitable for use with mineral oil-based fluids, fire-resistant, vegetable oils, as well as highly addivated oils, sour oils/gases (H2S) and crude oils.A high-performance elastomer that offers low wear, as well as good compression set, tear strength and flexibility.
Used for high-temperature hydraulic seals, as well as oil field seals and O-rings.
Duralast 6174A high-performance elastomer for use in hydraulics, control fluids, as well as sour oils/gases (H2S) and crude oils. This material has been optimized to operate in rapid gas decompression (RGD) or explosive decompression (ED) conditions experienced in oil and gas exploration.Used for linear, rotary and static seals for oilfield exploration.
Regularly used as the energizing element in HPHT seals.
Duralast 6280A high-performance FDA elastomer. This material offers low wear, as well as good compression set, tear strength and flexibility.For use in applications in contact with foodstuff and pharmaceuticals. Used for Lip seals, piston seals, vee packings, wipers, static seals as well as seal energizers.
Long life option for rotary shaft seals, split seals and V-rings.
Duralast 7166High-temperature - resistant to hot water, steam below 120°C, HFA, HFB, HFC, HFD-R, HFD-S fluids, vegetable oils, ozone, oxygen, and air up to 200°C.

For use in hot air and in applications where chemicals and foodstuff come into contact with the seal. Generally used as a static sealing material.
Duralast 8166High-temperature, chemically-resistant elastomer suitable for mineral oil-based fluids, fire-resistant hydraulic vegetable oils, diesel fuels, gasoline, alcohols, ozone, hydrocarbons, and air up to 200°C.For use as linear, rotary and static seals in high-temperature or chemically-aggressive environments.

Used for seals in potable water applications in pumps, valves, dispensing cylinders, in addition to hot water, steam-cleaning systems and equipment.
Duralast 9166High-performance elastomer suitable for use with hot water, HFC, HFD-R fluids, ozone, oxygen, alcohols, ketones, and esters.
Also used in equipment using bases, acids, alcohols and degreasing fluids. Suitable for use with certain brake fluids.
Used for seals in hot water, steam-cleaning systems and equipment. Regularly used in tire plants where high-pressure steam is common.
This material’s compatibility with solvents makes it a prime material for paint mixing and dispensing, as well as pumps and dispensers for the adhesive industry.

Important Note: Maximum/minimum temperatures and other operating limits listed on this website or otherwise provided by American High Performance Seals can vary greatly depending on seal configuration, media, operating temperatures, pressures, surface speed, dynamic running surface finish and working environment.  Seals cannot be operated at their upper pressure, speed and/or temperature ratings at the same time. For longer seal life expectancy, do not operate your seal beyond 75% of any of its operating limits.
