SC Series spring-energized seals are for low friction, dynamic reciprocating and rotary applications. The seal produces a near flat load curve when compressed (installed). They provide constant predictable loads throughout their very wide deflection range. The spring is made from 300 series stainless steel wire or other alloys, and, combined with the right seal jacket material, they provide low friction and corrosion resistance in severe service applications. They are available in light, medium and high load designs in both standard and custom sizes to meet your specific application requirements. Please contact us for sizes, hardware design, availability or any other information you need.
