HS Series spring-energized seals are designed for use in static or slow, infrequent dynamic sealing applications due to high compression load over a small deflection range, which make these seals suitable when low pressure or vacuum and very low temperatures (cryogenic) are present. The small deflection range prevents them from being used in applications having wide gland tolerances, misalignment or eccentricity. Standard and custom size seals and materials are available.
