V101

V101 is a bisphenol cross-linked fluorocarbon elastomer, commonly referred as VITON® or FPM. V101 is resistant to fire resistant fluids, Phosphate Esters, mineral oils, greases and most inorganic acids and chemicals. V101 is also highly resistant to swelling in gasoline and gasoline/alcohol blends. V101 is not recommended for exposure to ketones, low molecular weight esters and ethers, nitro hydrocarbons, amines, hot hydrofluoric and chlorosulfonic acids and Skydrol fluids.

A low gas-permeability makes V101 good for hard vacuum applications. V101 is used for U-cups, lip seals, O-rings, V-packings and special seals in chemical processing, oil-recovery equipment, and in high temperature sealing applications up to 392°F (200°C).

Temperature Range: -4°F to 400°F (-20°C to 200°C)
