E101

E101 is a black Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Rubber, commonly referred as EPDM. It is used in hot water or steam applications, glycol-based brake fluids, alkalies and fire resistant fluids (HFC) and some Phosphate Esters.  E101 is also used in bases, acids, and alcohols. E101 is not resistant to mineral oil based fluids, diester based lubricants, aromatic fuels or vegetable and animal oils.

E101 is used for standard and special sealing applications as hydraulic or rotary seal, O-rings, flange seals and gaskets up to 302°F (150°C).

Temperature Range: -40°F to 302°F (-40°C to 150°C)
